Morara Kebaso Speaks After Terrifying Attack At The Bomas As ODM Mps Cheer

Morara Kebaso, a political activist, has updated his followers on his current status following a terrifying encounter with goons in Kenya’s Bomas.

Morara was about to give a presentation at the Bomas Hall when all hell broke loose, as goons descended on him, throwing chairs and brazenly attempting to beat him.

He had gone to join other Kenyans in the Rigathi Gachagua impeachment public participation.

In a video clip shared by Citizen Digital, a visibly shaken Morara can be seen sitting in his seat as chairs fly from all directions, aimed at him.

As the chaos worsens, Morara is forced to duck for cover.

However, the situation worsens as the charged crowd continues to throw chairs, with many attempting to grab him.

At one point, cameras show a shaken Morara being pushed into a corner while the angry mob continues to bay for his blood.

Despite being escorted out of the venue, the riotous gangs continue to follow him down the hallway, punching their way through.

Throughout it all, Ruaraka Member of Parliament TJ Kajwang, who is holding the microphone, can be heard egging on the goons, seemingly encouraging them to keep up with the commotion and teach Morara the ways of the city.

“Nairobi Hoyeee!” he repeatedly hollers. “Hii ndio utamu ya Nairobi!”

Morara addressed the terrifying commotion, explaining the circumstances that led to the skirmish. He also stated that he was hurt and was going to hospital.

“I was barred from entering Bomas at the gate. When I finally got in, I was denied the mic on the BOMAS floor. Chaos erupted. I am hurt.

Headed to hospital. I live to speak another day,” he wrote on X.

Morara had told followers before arriving at Bomas that he had planned his day’s activities carefully.

He insisted that if Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was to leave office, his boss and election partner, President William Ruto, should also step down because the two were elected together and neither should leave without the other.

The public participation process for Gachagua’s impeachment is currently underway in various public venues across the country.
