How To Check 2023 KCSE Results Most Searched
Google on Tuesday released the trends for Kenya’s search throughout 2024.
In the section for “how to”, Kenyans showcased their interests from the top most searched question being “how to check KCSE results 2023.
The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams in 2023 ended on November 24, and the results were released in January 2024.
Many Kenyans sought to know how to check for the results, even as a couple of media houses did stories to inform the public.
Unlike in previous years, candidates could not access the 2023 KCSE results through SMS code.
“Individual 2023 KCSE candidates’ examination results will be accessed online through a link on the KNEC website or directly through the URL: www.results.knec.ac.ke,” a statement from KNEC read in part.
Kenyans also googled how to update the token meter. This was occasioned by an announcement from Kenya Power.
The lighting company had directed Kenyans who rely on prepaid meters for electricity to update their token meters by August 31.
The company’s Managing Director, Joseph Siror, stated that the exercise aimed to transition prepaid users to a new system as the current one expired.
The third question was on how to say “hello” in Italian. There are different ways of greetings in Italian such as “Ciao”, “salve”, “buongiorno”, and “buonasera”, depending on formality and time.
Kenyans also searched for how to apply for KUCCPS. The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal was open for application on February 8.
The portal helped place students in Universities, Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs), Technical Training Institutions (TVETS), and the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).
Following the rollout of the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), a majority of Kenyans searched for how one could register.
SHIF was rolled out on October 1, to replace the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), under the Social Health Authority (SHA).
The country is still grappling to ensure that the insurance transfer is operational for all persons.
The other Google search was how to demonstrate osmosis in living tissues.
Kenyans also looked into how to become a pro skater and how to reverse M-Pesa sent to the wrong number.
On the latter, one should send the MPesa message to 456, and then Safaricom will reverse the transaction and refund the money to your Mpesa account.
Kenyans also googled on how to become a pro skater, how to play aviator, and how to hype the sports team that you support.
